COVID-19 Response- It is of the utmost importance that the City of San Francisco with the support of our state and federal government to continue to aggressively provide relief for working class families, minority business owners, small business owners and all of the essential workers who are struggling to make ends meet. Many of these people have families, children and elderly parents who depend on them. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the "City's" necessary stay at home orders and social distancing, people have seen their businesses shutter, hours cut, wages decreased and in many cases have lost their jobs.
As we begin to open up, we need to make sure we continue to wear masks, social distance, wash our hands and always think about how our individual behavior can affect our neighborhood and District 1 as a whole. For our elderly, those with compromised immune systems and pre-existing conditions, we are here to support you. The coming months will be challenging but if we work together, our local communities and “The City By The Bay” will come back stronger than ever.
